The 9th World Olive Oil Exhibition, which was going to be held on the 18th and 19th of March, has changed its dates due to official precautionary measures against the coronavirus outbreak. The fair will take place at the end of June in IFEMA.

Madrid, 9th of March 2020. Given the official measures announced to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the organizers of the World Olive Oil Exhibition together with IFEMA have decided to move the dates for the WOOE to the forthcoming 29th and 30th of June 2020. This event will be held at IFEMA (Madrid).

Taking into consideration that the World Olive Oil Exhibition is the global fair for the olive oil sector and that more than 4,000 people from over 40 different countries attend, the organizers have deemed appropriate the change of dates for the WOOE until the end of June, instead of holding the fair as scheduled on the 18th and 19th of March in order to guarantee the attendance of professionals to the fair, given the potential mobility issues that participants may face.

By postponing, the World Olive Oil Exhibition will be once again the focal meeting point for producing countries, oil mills, buyers and traders, as it has been during the previous eight editions.
